What will I do for you:
- Setup your CI environment to run integration tests upon developers commits/PR. That includes setting it up if you don't have one.
- Write tests for to up to 10 user flows.
- Provide a 5 hours mentoring session to your engineers so they can start adding test scenarios in minutes. If you need me to be your "test guru", maintain and improve your integration test suite over time. I might be able to do it for one or two company (if I like your product and team).
How much will it cost:I first thought that I would offer this service for free. But after giving it some thoughts, I think that I only want to offer this service to companies that recognize the necessity of a solid test suite and that are willing to pay for it. You could still wait for the tool to be ready for prime time.
Who am I: build my first website in 2000 using Microsoft front page and since have probably used most of the web technologies that have made that decade and a half. I currently work for a YC company as the Director of Software engineering.
What's next?
If you are interested or are just curious, I would be happy to hop on a call with you.
Our value proposition is two fold:
1. Bring education to the hundred millions of people that do no have access to school and by nature are often poor. Targeted to the developing world. 2. Making education an addictive experience and a part of everyday life of people in the developed world through the use of Gamification.
Now the dilemma arise because that we believe that the only way to address the first target would be to take NGOs money in order to put the equipments and the setup in the hands of the users.
Do you think that we can take NGOs money while remaining a business?
PS: We think this project would explode it kickstarter funding, if we could use it. But unfortunately we can't.
What other means do we have to fund such a venture.
Thank you.
