I just noticed yesterday that I had opened a few too many projects in my VSCode (7 to be exact) and then Github Copilot stopped auto completion, suggestions, everything.

When I removed 5 of those projects from VSCode, it started generating suggestions, etc immediately.

Tbf I was using a powerful Macbook Pro with M1 chip and 16 GB RAM.

From what I have read, it doesn't provide a whole lot of features other than giving you a priority in the queue, and storing your chat history, etc.

So would you guys rather wait a little longer for the prompt to answer or shell out the $42?

Personally, I might pay if they limit the number of responses per month, or they put up a credit system like Dall-E.

Firstly, I used to love Twitter!

However, I will move to Mastodon due to the recent spate of haphazard rule changes, bugs, and unstable systems. I have noticed many problems, especially with the Android Twitter app.

What is the take of the HN community on moving to Mastodon, especially after Paul G was banned?

I am a mid-level JavaScript programmer. I want to do a project that can be finished over a weekend (or two).

Do you have any ideas/burning desires for a small but useful npm package that you would like me to work on?
