Hi - doing a bit of background research on the possibility of building our own, open source based NAS (for iSCSI) rather than a commercial offering. Any startups here using the likes of openfiler, FreeNAS etc in a production environment? Or anything else worth looking at?
Long term unix sysadmin here. There seems to be a dearth of start ups in the North East of England. Any other HN readers from this area with companies on the go, or even just with plans to start something up?
