Are there still valid reasons for browsing sites with javascript disabled?

What would you build if you had access to a real-time data stream? The data would be items such as pricing/item information, weather, and news stories. I'm just curious what developers would build if they had access to that kind of data.

Suppose a potential investor asks a question about your startup via email, what do you believe is the maximum length of time that should be taken to respond? Assuming the question is of moderate difficulty.
