I've heard this repeated quite a bit, particularly around the inception of dynamo and NoSQL in general. But don't think I've ever heard the "why" side.

With things like ChatGPT bringing AI back to the forefront, a lot of the predicitons seem to be that (right now) AI isn't going to take over. But people that are good at leveraging AI will.

So was curious to hear this crowd's thoughts on AI tooling that is available to developers.

Currently I'm reading off my 10th gen IPad and using the kindle app. Was wondering what other's thoughts on the hardware software pairing for reading books electronically?

As the title says, I've past the initial phone screening with a SV startup that was acquired this fall. Is there anything that I should ask about that would be unique in this situation?

As the title says, Twitter started a hiring freeze this morning. iirc Amazon has been under one. Are there other noteworthy companies under hiring freezes atm?

Kinda a follow up to a front page post this week about writing patterns for companies. The biggest (and most valid) concern with it was, that patterns of writing is not the problem, but problems with reading the writing is. This resonated pretty deeply with my experiences as well, so I was wondering if anyone has had any success creating rigging that encouraged team members to read what others had written?
