I wonder if there are correlations between quick language learning and other skills?

I recently noticed a research, rating language learning ability over numeracy for learning code, which surprised me (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-60661-8). I'm looking if there are other areas, especially to introduce to my 8 year old daughter, with such ability.

My 8 years old daughter self-taught German, and she has progressed to the level to enjoy reading German children's books from her Kobo.

We are looking for digital resources to increase her exposure. With COVID-19 outbreak, I see a lot of digital resources made available/free, however with no-one speaking German around, we don't come by any in German.

Do you know any good German digital education/entertainment resources for kids?
