I'm looking to teach myself a new Web Dev language and have landed on Ruby/Rails. What are the best resources out there for learning Ruby/Rails if you are already a programmer with web experience?
I have a couple of side projects that I am working on for learning, fun and profit (but thats really secondary). I'm dreadful at UI/UX though. This becomes a huge problem when you consider that to a user the UI/UX IS the application, not all the backend logic/work.
How would I go about finding someone that would want to work on these projects with me? How should I vet the people that I do find?
I've looked around on the web and seen some wiki's listing all the python host etc., but I was wondering of those of you here that do Python webdev, what host do you use and why?
