I've been flying a lot lately and would like to spend some money on offsetting my emissions.
Is this a bad idea? What providers should I use? The industry seems scammy - any positive examples?
(This is money I'd otherwise spend on consumption, e.g. more flights. I'm talking about consumer-level money, so on the order of hundreds to thousands USD.)
