It's a race! What among your daily tools is the slowest?

What here on HN is different when compared to your professional life? What here is funny to you? What could you teach us?

Does anybody do day-to-day things aimed at influencing their future self? I often schedule calendar events or self-emails with motivational/“think about X” messages. Sometimes if I’m feeling a particularly strong emotion, I also record a pep talk to my future self.

Wondering if anyone else does something similar?

How do you check their health is okay, or if there are any emergencies? Especially if they have any medical conditions?
