I wanted the opinion of the HN people regarding the software dev and startup scene in Australia compared to Canada. I am aware of big companies operating out of Canada, but have no idea which kind of tech companies and startups operate out of Australia.

Does Australia provide similar opportunities to work in tech companies and startups like USA and Canada?

P.S. I'm looking to pursue my Masters degree in Data Science in one of these countries, and am looking for any insight that would help me make the right decision. Thank you for your time.

Twitter drama is through the roof. Although I'm confident the social media giant is not going anywhere anytime soon. I want to inquire if HN users have started migrating to Mastodon, and which servers they're using to do so.
