I've hired quite a few people over my career and one of the most challenging attributes to hire for is drive or proactiveness. In my mind, this is the most important criteria that separates a great employee from just an okay one. Do they have internal drive? Will they proactively seek out opportunities and solve problems? Will they be an independent thinker and own their area of work? For the hiring managers out there, how do you screen for "drive"? I'd appreciate hearing your tips and advice. Thank you!
I'm searching for an app like Venmo or Square Cash that doesn't have monthly transaction limits. I need to reimburse several hundred volunteers on a monthly basis. I'd happily pay for the service. Can anyone provide recommendations? Thank you!
It seems like many people have a garage of rarely used tools, from lawnmowers to ladders. If there was an app that let you share or rent your tools to others within some specified geographic area (e.g., your neighborhood), would you use such a tool? Thanks!
The price varies considerable between offices and outpatient facilities (e.g., $100 - $3000 for the same service, depending on your insurance) and there are likely facilities with underutilized staff and equipment. Diagnostic services, such as X-Rays, MRIs, endoscopies, are low risk so patients would be willing to price shop for these services. I'd appreciate any feedback!
