My parents attempted running a holiday-booking venture that didn't go anywhere. In the process, they had a fairly advanced web app built with things like custom refund policies and self-service registration for the hotels.
This web app cost a lot and it would be nice to get back some of that money, so how would you go about recovering the cost?
Any failed business sale forums I don't know about?
I started working on a little debugging library for Android but the work proved rather finicky. so I decided to first make sure I knew what I was doing. Before proceeding any further, I wanted to validate the viability of the idea (and get feedback in general), so I put together a little landing page to present the project:
http://deety.delyan.me/
The list of features is only things I've done/researched thoroughly. I have a thousand more ideas (e.g., SQLite browser, network traffic analyzer, wakelock profiler, possibly an animation debugger) but I haven't gotten around to figuring out how they would work yet.
Would you be willing to pay for a library with the features I've listed on the site (View inspector, logcat, crash logs)? How much? What sort of support would you expect? Would you use it if it were free? Would any one feature make you buy it?
I'll be here to answer any questions or feel free to email me at deety@delyan.me
Thanks for your time!
