What's a good stack to start tinkering with if I want to learn some kitchen automation? I would like to make a DIY rice cooker and other similar projects.

I recognize this could involve learning about heat and pressure too, so open to suggestions on that as well.

I have a couple of projects in my company where wer are creating AI agents to generate code and/or help people in designing software. The agents themselves are conversational. The code generated is most often UI code.

How are people going about evaluating the responses of AI agents these days? Particularly for conversational flows - the problem seems more complex because it could require keeping the entire conversation in context.

I've been reading in various places that US National debt is increasing at unprecedented levels. I don't know much about finance and global economics. How do you think this is going to pan out? What should the layperson (US & non-US residents) do to safeguard against it?

I find a bunch of links on HN and Twitter which I would like to read later on. I've been using Instapaper for storing these links but I've noticed I don't get around to reading many of them. It's not because the topic doesn't interest me - it's more the form factor. For one, I always prefer reading on paper and hence my consumption of books is constant.

I'm curious to know what mechanisms people have figured out on HN to acrtively go through new content found online.

I'm interested in creating search-based products - search engines for broad as well as niche categories. What is a good path to do this? Starting from the early algorithms to new AI-based ones

What is a suggested route in terms of books/resources/courses?

I live in an urban area in India, in one of the major cities. I see that there's a lot of fallow land towards the outskirts, with decent proximity to the city-center.

These lands are no longer used by farmers due to degradation of quality and also better economic opportunities for them elsewhere.

What are some things one can do with these lands profitably, with minimal capital investment?
