Helping managers managers in tech free up their time and mind
I have moments where I want to desperately discuss what I am thinking but have no friend that would like to participate in that?
What should I do about it?
Most people consider AI as some tool that they can chat with. But I want to discuss stuff such as the "self evolving software" vs "An AI app builder" and so on...
So thinking of building an app that can fetch data from Slack, Jira, Meetings, Email and put together a self populating todo list with all the important information at one place.
It would also have auto tracking and followups.
I would love to know whether this resonates with you or any other similar problem that you face.
Any inputs would be helpful.
It will connect to Gmail, Slack, Jira, Meetings and populate and maintain itself.
It will also prioritize tasks, gather context, and provide assistance in finishing them.
Need views on this, and would you like to have/pay for something like this?
All opinions would be helpful at this stage, thanks.
As I am integrating with and indexing a lot of user data, I planned on keeping it self-serve.
But now it's becoming super difficult for me to make people try it out.
I have to deny people who want to try it, or ask them to get it approved from their IT teams.
What should I do.

I struggled with similar problems myself and set to solve it.
Currently I am looking to get my first set of power users and also validation for the idea.
Would be a great help to know the frustrations and main pain points of engineering managers and tech leads.
I am thinking of starting with startups with at least 10 engineers to pilot and test the product and grow from there on.
All inputs are highly appreciated.

As it is getting discontinued, opening this thread for discussion on where to move from here.
1. Solving pinpoint problems such as finding a cure for cancer
2. Creating enabling tech like the internet
My clients are some of the top developer tools. I quit my company just because, I wanted to do some focussed building work, instead of spending time on servicing clients. As I am a developer and builder at heart.
Moreover people from some VCs (the main ones infact) also told me that although I might make some money, I won't be able to create an impactful company this way in which they would ever like to invest in.
I am also currently building an AI/RAG application which is getting some good traction.
In university I used to be one of the good competitive coders in the whole country. I can crack about any coding interview with some revision for sure.
When I am applying for the positions of product engineer (where they are specifically mentioning that they need someone who can collaborate with product, UX and other teams).
I am still not getting even an interview.
I can't understand why my resume is getting rejected everywhere.
I have talked to some of the best developers and product managers. And I do not feel that I am inferior in knowledge or capabilities at all. And they all have loads of offers and HRs messaging them left and right.
Infact, I think I can help companies grow even any support or help at all.
Any insight would be a great help.
Thanks
