I've recently seen a huge increase in LinkedIN messages and direct email contacts from recruiters. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm curious if recruiters are more active certain times of the year, or if there's a sudden hiring trend .

I understand that Ycombinator works to help non-profit startups - but how does the relationship between investors differ in a non-profit vs a traditional for-profit company?

My Brother recently returned from teaching English in Japan for the last 5 years. He's in his mid 20's and eager to attempt starting a Career in tech.

Outside of suggesting that he "Learn Python", I'm really not sure where to direct him. I'm not sure what type of entry job he could look for with a startup or major corp.

So - What can you do when all you've got is a kickass GPA from a good school and 5 years of international work experience?

I've recently taking a course at Pycon on Test Driven Development. The idea of user stories was touched upon - but I'd like to read more about them.

Can anyone recommend resources for learning more about building great user stories?
