Just wanted to make the members of the HN community who didn't already know about this great userscript aware of it's existence. It lets you save stories, integrates a search bar, and view stories in split view, among other useful features.

So, HN, I know this is a pretty technical site in terms of programming, entrepreneurship, etc, but it looks like I'm starting a more traditional drink business with my brother. Background info really quickly: I'm 23, he's 20, and we have created a health shot from natural products that is really quite awesome (not going into too much detail here; it's not relevant. All I have to say is it's not an energy drink).

We plan on selling 50 ml bottles (about 2 oz) to local health markets to begin with, and see how things go from there.

What I want to know is this: what do I need to know about US health and food regulation before I get into this? I'm literally going to be preparing and bottling this in my kitchen for a while and selling directly to these local markets when I start out. Is there anything I should I be aware of before I start that would have the power to stop me?

EDIT: Starting out, it looks like I will be using these bottles: http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/fin14e.html. Good enough, or will I need something better? (in terms of being able to preserve the contents?)

I have a quick question I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with. I intern at a Hi Def production company in NYC. We're small but very capable and we want to create our own server that we can use to allow clients to FTP large files to and from - our web server simply doesn't cut it for this purpose.

I have an old G4 Mac at my disposal, and am pretty familiar with Linux. We need the server to appear visible on a Mac network, and be accessible through FTP software from anywhere in the world, by our clients (who we'd obviously give a user name and password to, to allow them to access specific folders).

What's the best way to go about this? Any tutorials you can recommend? I'd really appreciate anyone who can steer me in the right direction.

I've recently started learning how to develop an iPhone app, however I have relatively little programming experience under my belt. I am a pretty technical guy, but would like some advice from experienced programmers on how I should continue. The app is a game and would require sprite animation and perhaps a basic physics engine but nothing too intensive. From what I can reckon, I would need to learn Objective C, Cocoa, and then Open Gl ES. Am I correct in this assessment? What would be the most efficient way to go about this?
