I'm learning Rust at the moment, but it has never occurred to me until now that the website[1] is written in Rust. pretty sweet if you ask me, Rust's future in WebDev seems really promising, even before 1.0.
I'm 15, I know JavaScript and taking AP Java in school(I really don't like it), and I'm very intrigued by Rust. Should I learn C first though? I don't really want to but some people said I should but some others said it doesn't matter, since you can learn a lot a bit less of what C teaches you(since some Rust libraries hide some complexity, is it really important though?), but its still a lot of information about how memory/computers work, however, I'm more interested in the language than how the computer's internal systems work right now.
Any outlook on Rails' speed in the future? There have been actual upgrades to its performance but are there any performance upgrades in the future to give a big boost of speed?
'm a 15 year old coder that knows JS(first language) taking AP Java in school. Since I dont really like Java, I have narrowed down to 3 languages to learn as a secondary language. Im more into the Web Development area and I really like a lot of 3rd party packages to use and speed performance is also an importance. So which would you guys prefer for me? Rust, Go or Rails?
