I'm an MBA student at UCLA Anderson School of Management and I'm currently in a marketing analytics class. We've learned a lot of interesting, analytical ways (perceptual mapping and conjoint analysis) to better understand customers and how to appeal to them. As part of our course final project, we need to apply the tools we've learned for a real company.

Our team would love to help out a startup understand their customers. If you're interested, we'd best be able to serve startups that: 1. Are not too early-stage; preferably, have some revenue (basically, you aren't going anywhere anytime soon) 2. Ideally consumer-facing (much easier to survey for!) 3. You'd be willing to help us survey folks (offering some sort of raffle/reward for filling out the survey)

I'm a lurker and huge fan of Hacker News. My background is in business and have spent the last few years doing market research for a corporation and a small startup. Wanted to get more practice doing market research and market sizing for tech startups.
