It seems Microsoft has finally pissed off enough people. Especially with this recent news of giving away BitLocker keys. That people are jumping to Linux for Desktop. I'm currently looking at Linux tools that can replace my Windows tools. e.g. Google Drive syncing
I think this might grow the paid apps market for Linux. Windows users don't have a problem paying for something if we don't have to manage it and deal with drivers.
I brought this up a couple years ago and everyone thought it was dumb because tech workers were in a "privileged position". Not sure thats really the case anymore with all these layoffs and AI looming over our shoulders.
So how many more layoffs before we start making Unions?
