Ask HN: One Ingredient for Better Health?
For example, spirulina, cinnamon, or a natural supplement that could make a noticeable difference.

I have tried changing a bunch of settings on the wifi driver/card, and i have changed dns servers etc etc.
Is this a thing? or am i going crazy?
It took Google and the usual suspects years and years, and lots and lots of smart people, and lots and lots of money, to build AI.
So when I for example see here on HN, someone post "I built xyzAI or abcAI" I wonder.... did ya'll suddenly grow a sam altman second brain, or do you mean you use an AI API, or are you perhaps.... just using IF statements like the rest of us and there's not much more intelligence about it than usual.
I'm curious to hear people define AI, because at the moment my prediction is that the acronym will join the likes of blockchain, web3, VR, NFT and so on. All hype and either no one uses it, or it just ends up being for scams.
I end up on The Guardian to get my daily fix of news and breaking news, but they tend to be very left leaning, not that i'm right leaning, but i would really like some neutral news and they aren't.
Whats a good place to get your daily dose of news?
There is one that i saw on HN a few years ago, i tried to find it again but was unsuccessful, the gist was that they removed some non needed headers and saved a massive chunk of bw cost and gained speed.
I'll start, here's a few:
- enable gzip/brotli
- compress images
- minify css/js
- use of cdn
- link tag with appropriate rel, decoding, loading and fetchpriority attributes
- cache headers
- fetchpriority attribute on css, js, fonts and what not.
- order of js, css, and font loading in head tag
- use of defer attribute
- use of loading and decoding attributes on images
- get rid of 19 out of those 20 3rd part trackers every site seem to desperately need that defeat any or all of the other optimization attempts you are doing.
