If you say "I programmed this myself" or "I did not use LLMs" while in fact you did then you misrepresented reality. That is, you lied. It baffles me this is even a point of contention.

also it seems to me that you are implicitly making that representation by submitting a response to something called a 'skill assessment test'

i mean unless you think they're trying to assess your skill at copying and pasting, or cheating on tests, or general dishonesty

in the last case you have a sort of epimenides paradox, in that the way to pass the general-dishonesty test legitimately is to try to cheat on it

One demonstrates that they have the skills by answering the questions correctly. Using an LLM to do it or not is inconsequential. If you can demonstrably produce good output then great, code is a tool and a means to an end after all.
