Start with a notebook, and write blogs just for yourself to begin. When you start writing it's easy to put stuff out there and then look back on it and wish you'd expressed things differently-- but if your readership notices you're modifying old posts, it will tarnish your reputation for integrity irreparably. I like to write then sleep on it and read it aloud before I post.
Try to keep in mind: good writing is just good thinking.
