I'm not sure
anyone understands the cost implications of a DDoS, particularly one on a third-party service. Even if you absolutely need to make a change to something that
has to be done by more than one collaborator and
has to be deployed via github and it
has to be patched right now and there's
really no other way, how do you go about estimating the losses anyway? You can't just assume that whatever average income you would have collected over the last 72 hours has been lost forever.
Is anyone out there even attempting to estimate how much revenue they've lost as a result of this DDoS?
