Ask HN: How to go about looking for my third co-op at tech a startup?

I am in the process of looking for my third full time co-op during the fall. I've applied to various program including internships at Google, Twitter and Square but have had no luck getting responses from recruiters.

How should I go about reaching out to people in these companies?

My experience with account management in Digital Marketing at Adobe in San Francisco, and financial Asset Management at Wellington Management in London, has led me to where I am today; pursuing a co-op for a business development (i'd love to do sales) position at a tech start-up.
