You will definitely get a mail if you get accepted. If you get no mail, you probably didn't get accepted.I think that is precisely wrong. The FAQ says that all applicants should expect a response, whether they were accepted or not:
Q: I applied but didn't hear from you.
A: Either our reply is caught in your spam filter, or you entered an incorrect email address in the application form.
