Where do people find out about the algorithms, etiquette and other unwritten stuff about this site. Often people seem to make claims about certain aspects of HN, like you did above, but I can never find anywhere to either prove or disprove it or understand what the 'rules' are.
He is a perfect example of what I am talking about. Using words I don't know (sockpuppeting) and telling everyone else off for their conduct without actually explaining what or why it is the way it is.
