Not even, since Coinbase is a webwallet not an exchange... People generally keep them there because its an easy way to manage/spend them (esp on a phone)

Well, it does let you trade. It also seems to have some merchanting abilities.

It lets you buy. That's not the same as trading, you can only execute market orders so its trading functionality is extremely limited.

Ah, you are right. For the type of trading I do now (buy when shit hits the fan, sell when things calm down), it's good enough.
