Eric Schmidt angers MPs by defending Google's tax avoidance (opens in new tab)

This may be an unpopular opinion, more so here than anywhere else, perhaps, but such a paltry amount of tax on such huge revenues is galling. Is there a point where the externalities of tax avoidance negate the value to those doing the avoiding?
