Ask HN:Is it okay to post the link of your new product on most visited blog post

I am soon releasing a web app. I also write blog on my personal website. Is it okay to post the link/url of your new product on your most visited blog.

In my case, one of my blog on mobile development is visited around 250-300 times a day but my new product is not mobile related. Would it be okay if I post at the bottom my product page link.

FYI I know it will be okay to post it on the homepage but my homepage is visited only 20 times a day.
