Google must let publishers opt out of AI Search features, rules UK (opens in new tab)

That's like a government declaring everyone needs to be able to opt out of being punched in the face. No idiots, opt in, or gtfo. Companies can do what's illegal for everyone else, as long as they provide some kind of "opt out"?
