Good! No euphemisms.
> Second, this wasn't about cutting costs. Most savings from this change will flow directly back into the people who stay. We'll be introducing million-dollar salary bands. If you create outsized impact using AI, you'll be paid outside of traditional bands.
That’s good. But with 100X output the salaries should increase more than that?
Not that I believe that salaries will increase proportionally.

A true believer. Or true investor-whisperer.
Maybe this unlimited character count tweets change was a mistake.
The real mistake was CEOs feeling like they need to be visible on social media and opine on things in the public sphere.
$60,000 * 10 * 10 =~ 10e6
Going from 60k to 600k to 6m. Probably won't be six million but maybe closer to 1m. A million a year is still "in the millions."Really doubt tens of millions, but at that point ICs could also be VCs.
If AI is even capable of 100x the output of a single human, wouldn’t it make sense to hire even more people? Or do they need the money to pay for tokens?
