EU is on it's way to become an open air museum (opens in new tab)

California is shutting down refineries and importantly nuclear power and not replacing it, so appears likely to eventually follow Germany.

Better an open air museum than a cave of thieves, thank you.

I think it's useful to look at the whole, but also Europe is not very monolithic. One can also look at regions, especially per capita.
