UK firefighters called to one lithium-ion battery fire every five hours (opens in new tab)

A couple months ago, an electric vehicle caught on fire in a garage a few doors down in San Francisco. It was not charging at the time (4am). No one injured but 3 floors of tenants had to move out. Anecdotal sure, but close to home for me.
