Less people are having babies in Canada and the US and the govt is out of ideas (opens in new tab)

In this era of (more) Conservative governments, who's going to subsidize construction of lower-rent/cost housing? And where are they going to put it, given that work-from-home isn't something companies or governments are interested in doing?

I suspect this problem will fix itself. Third world shitholes don’t have nearly the same fertility problems. So the solution is simple, in order to raise fertility rates, become a third world shithole.

And the US ruling class, in an attempt to counter elite overproduction, want to turn this place into a third world country. Can’t speak much about Canada.
