Genuine question: do eVTOLs flip over in the water like helicopters do? Or is the battery place low down.

Collective rotor based helicopters don't scare me at all, but drone based multi-rotor designs definitely do. A regular helicopter can safely land even with catastrophic engine failure or complete electronics failure thanks to its auto rotation capabilities, a drone platform just becomes a falling rock with zero control or stability. Plus a drone's control system is way more complicated which leaves more room for failures and problems.
