That extension is an incredibly neutered version of Claude Code, and unless you pay for the ultra-premium plan the two can't talk to each other :(

But... There is claude --chrome which I'm puzzled nobody mentioned. I use it for E2E testing.

playwright-cli and agent-browser are much much better, give them a try.
