At current time, Show HN's are restricted to accounts that aren't 'new'.

Like try being a member of the community... like post some comments or some links to other people's blogs. HN isn't a spam dump like Product Hunt.

Ironically they're being barred from participating in the community because they haven't participated in the community.

Also ironically the easiest way for someone to reach the threshold for participation would be to create a bot.
