This is such a weird article. The author presents so many contradictory anecdotal experiences against the author's own conclusion.

I think he used it as a counter-example where it made sense to him to be early. But you don't always have to be early, is his point, I think.

This is such a weird article. The author presents so many contradictory anecdotal experiences against the author's own conclusion.

I think he used it as a counter-example where it made sense to him to be early. But you don't always have to be early, is his point, I think.
