OpenAI's terms with Microsoft may end up being OpenAI's biggest obstacle to winning the AI race. Anthropic can be used in any cloud but not OpenAI. This limits OpenAI's distribution strategy greatly. It benefits Microsoft but not OpenAI.

I think OpenAI is just trying to grow recklessly as much as possible. Anthropic seems to be more thoughtful about how they are moving.
