I was a 10x engineer. Now I'm useless (opens in new tab)

Maybe I'm lucky. My employer encourages the use of AI, but no one expects me to ship 10x faster, just because AI types faster – coding never was a bottleneck.

Maybe now all these 10x engineers with insufferable egos will chill out and clock in and out with proper corporate apathy like the rest of us.
