I'm not a big "pun" guy, but this is smart. Address skeptics head on.

Addressing them head on would be providing verification of your claims alongside the initial announcement, not being intentionally vague and then using reasonable skepticism as marketing.

Addressing the claims one by one is still doing it head on. There's not some logic timeline for this stuff.

The slow drip of verification is a smart move IMO. It keeps them in the media for longer (Gabbo) and stops them from being lost in the other 1000 different battery announcement. Hopefully getting them funding I'm guessing they need to start full manufacturing.

That said, while this certainly is a promising battery based on the claims, I won't get my hopes up until there's an actual product I can buy.

If they did actually achieve something remarkable, giving the skeptics time to bury their own credibility has some advantages.

Turning verification of your basic claimed battery specifications into a slow drip PR event is certainly a choice.

I'd suspect the next set are charge cycle tests so that will take some time. I was certainly skeptical of the C rate claims and those are quick to do and kick out.

This is most definitely a scam. The battery was not verified to be what they claim it is. It could have been ordered from Temu and packaged to a new wrapping. All the testers did was verify something about how it charges and discharges.

They did not invent in secrecy and zero budget a battery worth a Nobel prize.

This is a scam.

This website serves as the platform for publishing validation results and technical documentation related to the Donut Solid State Battery. Donut Lab has commissioned the internationally renowned VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland to conduct independent measurements of the battery’s performance and key characteristics. Unless otherwise stated, all tests presented here have been conducted by VTT. Full reports will be published alongside detailed video documentation that walks through the procedures, showcases the test setups, and explains the results.
