Makes sense if they want to limit it to female participants only. Allowing so-called "non-binary" identified to join is a loophole for males to intrude. Which is hardly empowering given that the industry is nearly all male.

So, it’s an event for ‘girls and people who identify as girls’ but nonbinary teens don’t identify as girls and now they feel left out?
