no they aren’t. a few cherry picked examples are. this is hyperreality. ask yourself what they are trying to manufacture consent for, and why

if you move a bit and it consumes 1W, do you get the same heat as if you put 1W directly to the heater?

Not exactly the same. Very nearly the same. I’m not real familiar with the physics of computation but look into theoretical minimum power consumption. Something like 99.999% the same heat output IIUC.
