I can't comment how feature compatible these are but alternatives do exist and that's good new for us. (Note that openDesk is based on a fork of LibreOffice Online, which is a commercial variant for those who don't want to bother implementing everything themselves).
Interesting, it seems I haven't interacted with this software for too long - makes sense in hindsight that there had been enough time to implement such features over the years. Thanks for correcting me.
