I may be wrong, but I think this was Google banning far-right wing accounts posting lies?
And now - by Trump / the far-right - Google has been coerced into reinstating those accounts, and Biden admin is being blamed for the bans on the basis of banning free speech.
The problem here is that free speech must be truthful, not intended to deceive and/or mislead.
