While I'd bet that the 'had a personal "epiphany" after' is a polite fiction - that doesn't matter. The Important, Real Leadership thing is that Farley is talking about this problem at such a high-profile event.
Suggested next move: Farley talks smack about cost of living reasons why his factory workers need 2 other jobs to scrape by. And publicly favors areas with lower CoL's, when Ford is deciding where their factories will be located.
