NASA hasn't found life on Mars yet – but signs are promising (opens in new tab)

I was reading Theories of Everything from John the Barrow, and this was mentioned:

Promising, and kinda sad. It will happen to earth one day, somehow, eventually, just sort of sad to find traces long after :(
