because it's annoying seeing the rich clueless person du jour scam yet another promising band of accomplished open source volunteers.
imagine all the money spent on Ubuntu actually fixing/improving stuff instead of strong arming projects to their also-run crap. this will be the same if he gets his way. those guys make money on saas lockin.
