That's an obvious flat out lie, crypto consumes much more power than the banking system, because of course it does. It literally relies on proof of work, through arrays of GPUs pointlessly crunching numbers. And that's just to handle a fraction of the number of transactions the banking system does.
it is ok my dude you do not have you use it. you think bitcoin uses more power than all the banks, merchant POS backends like visa and mastercard, things like SEPA, paper transactions, paper printers -because cash- , etc
you even mention gpus not asics and POW as a bad thing. it is the ONLY thing that is worth about bitcoin.
