Magnolia used to be an island in Puget Sound. They dumped fill into the area of Seattle we now call Interbay to connect it to the mainland where Queen Anne is.
It doesn’t make sense for Queen Anne to be an island, it is connected by a ridge to the rest of the mainland. The topography doesn’t support that notion.
